Patch 26.11 — Support Shakeup, Smolder & Teemo Nerfs, Tank Comeback
Patch 26.11 takes a holistic pass at the enchanter-heavy support meta: tank runes and tank support items buffed, enchanter items trimmed, Imperial Mandate reworked, plus balance changes for Brand, Diana, Ekko, Heimerdinger, Kassadin, Quinn, Smolder, Teemo, and Xin Zhao.
Patch 26.11 was published by Riot on May 27, 2026. The headline is a support-ecosystem overhaul designed to promote tanks back into the role after months of enchanter dominance, backed by rune changes, support item reworks, top-lane item tuning, and targeted champion balance. Deathfire Touch also becomes magic-only, removing its Black Cleaver synergy.
Champion Balance
Base armor drops from 27 to 24, targeting his overperformance as a bot-lane carry.
Monster damage rises from 230% to 270% and W - Pale Cascade bonus health from 9% to 11%, restoring her jungle clear.
Passive - Z-Drive Resonance per-enemy cooldown drops from 5 to 4 seconds as a compensation buff after the Dusk and Dawn reshape.
Turret attack range increases to 550, turret vision to 650, turrets gain bonus range against minions, and E grenade vision lasts longer — fixing degraded turret functionality.
Q - Null Sphere cooldown drops a full second at all ranks and W base damage rises from 20 to 25 to help his struggling lane phase.
Passive monster damage rises from 50 to 75 and Q monster damage from 150% to 200%, making jungle Quinn's clear speed competitive.
Passive bonus magic damage on Q and E is reworked to scale with crit chance, pushing him back toward crit builds and away from Essence Reaver bruiser setups.
Armor growth drops from 4.95 to 4.5 and E - Toxic Shot's bonus AD scaling is halved, trimming the Statikk Shiv build while preserving his lane-bully identity.
Passive healing AP ratios are reduced while passive damage gains a new AP ratio — tamping down AP Xin Zhao's eye-popping sustain with some damage compensation.
