Patch 26.5 — Volibear & Lee Sin Buffed, Kha'Zix Nerfed
The First Stand tournament patch. Volibear receives significant buffs across Q, W, and E, Lee Sin gets a damage boost, and Kha'Zix is toned down after dominating solo queue.
Patch 26.5 went live March 4th, 2026, as the official First Stand tournament patch — the first major international event of the year, held in São Paulo. Balance changes are conservative but Volibear gets a notable multi-ability buff and Kha'Zix takes a meaningful hit to his early Q damage.
Buffs
Q — Thundering Smash: bonus damage increased from +140% to +160%. W — Frenzied Maul: mana cost reduced, wounded bonus AD scaling up from 15% to 25% per 100 bonus AD. E — Sky Splitter: mana cost reduced from 60 to 50.
Q — Sonic Wave: base damage increased from 60/90/120/150/180 to 65/95/125/155/185.
R — Lilting Lullaby: base damage up to 150/200/250 (from 100/150/200). Cooldown reduced. Passive and Q AP ratios improved.
Q move speed duration improved at early ranks. E — Judgment: AD ratio up at all ranks.
Passive cooldown reduced from 13 to 12. Q bonus move speed increased at all ranks.
Q bolt damage increased at ranks 2–5. R initial damage increased from 100/150/200 to 125/200/275.
Nerfs
Base move speed reduced from 350 to 345. Q — Taste Their Fear: bonus AD ratio reduced from +110% to +105% (isolated from 231% to 220.5%).
Health growth reduced from 119 to 108.
Q cooldown increased at early ranks (6/5.25/4.5/3.75/3 → 7/6/5/4/3).
W — Shapespifter: cooldown now starts on clone expiration instead of on cast.
Patch 26.6 followed on March 18th with the Shyvana rework.
